In 1995, following the “Tokyo Subway SarinAttack”, the mass media enthusiastically reported story after story for six months about Aum Shinrikyo(now Aleph).
TV director Tatsuya Mori began shooting a documentary program about Aum Shinrikyo, with the spokesman of the cult, Hiroshi Araki,as his subject.
When he collided with his producer who wanted to force him to show Aum as absolutely evil, Mori, who had hiscontract canceled, continued shooting and producing the documentary on his own.
