Yuko Natori Inaugurated as Ambassador of KIFF 2016

2016/10/08 Information

Yuko Natori, a leading actress of many well-known TV dramas, has been selected as the Ambassador of the Kyoto International Film and Art Festival 2016.

Natori will appear in the cast greeting at Yoshimoto Gion-Kagetsu, as a special guest with Rikiya Mifune, the grandson of Toshiro Mifune, and scriptwriter Stuart Galbaraith, ahead of the opening premier screening of a documentary film about Toshiro Mifune, titled “Mifune: The Last Samurai”.

Comment from Yuko Natori:

“This is Yuko Natori who will hold the position of Ambassador of KIFF 2016.

I was able to participate in the first KIFF, so this is the second time for me to join the festival.

I have visited Kyoto many times both for business and privately. Also I have a good connection with the Honorary Chairman of the Kyoto International Film and Art Festival Executive Committee, Sadao Nakajima, so it is such an honor for me to join as an Ambassador of KIFF.

It is an important role, so I will try my best and I hope we will have wonderful time together with the people of Kyoto.”
